Emma's Bunny









Emma's eyes glistened as she eyed the bunny.



It sat in the store window, staring back at Emma.



It was plush pink, with a yellow shirt, tucked under purple overalls.

Emma wanted it since she couldn't remember when.


She begged her mother, and her father, even her older sister


In the Summer…



During Spring…

In Autumn...


Even Winter…


Every Holiday…


She wanted it.


Her dad finally gave in and bought her the pink bunny.


Later on that day Emma held it with loving arms.



She did everything with that plush pink bunny.


Had tea parties…



Went to sleepovers.


Watched movies…


Shared secrets…


Ate cookies...


She went everywhere with that pink bunny.



To the mall…


To the park…


To her grandmas…


To school…



And even on vacation...

Weeks
Months
And Years passed.


Emma was now a teenager dealing with school, and friends.


The now not so plush pink bunny sat on her bed alone all day.


However when her owner returned the not so plush pink bunny was tossed aside.
Even more weeks…




Months…



Days…



And years passed.


Emma now an adult had a husband, her own house, and a daughter Marissa.
The same not so plush pink bunny, with the yellow shirt tucked under purple overalls sat.
It sat high on a shelf in Emma's room.



One day Marissa could walk, and talk. She asked about that pink not so plush bunny.
Emma busy with house chores stopped, and smiled at her daughter.

"That's the pink bunny I had always loved when I was a little girl." She said.
"In fact I think you deserve her I am much too old to love her as much as I did."

The not so plush pink bunny with a yellow shirt, tucked under purple overalls smiled.
It now had a new loving owner again.



She was loved just as much as before.



And all the kids in Marissa's class were jealous of that not so plush pink bunny.

It now sat in it's new crib happy as can be.
